Dear promoter,

Easily one of the most successful Latin Hip Hop combos worldwide, well known for their association with Cypress Hill and House of Pain, FUNKDOOBIEST with Son Doobie, Tomahawk Funk and Dj Ralph M “The Mexican” return to Europe after their successful
September and October tour in 2008.

The success story of the mighty FUNKBOOBIEST started in the early 90ies in Los Angeles:
Dj Ralph M: “Funkdoobiest the name came later in 1991 from a song B-Real had written titled “The Funkdoobiest“. So one day Muggs and myself were rollin around L.A. and I said “Yo, we the Funkdoobiest: Ralph M, Son Doobie, and Tomahawk Funk.” And it’s been history since.
That name was too dope to just be a song.”

After productions and guest features for House of Pain, Cypress Hill and Mellow Man Ace, a brother of Sen Dog (Cypress Hill), Funkdoobiest secured a favoured position as third member of the highly respected Soul Assassins crew (Cypress Hill and House of Pain) and became the sensation on both sides of the pond.

They hit big time in 1993 with one of the most powerful Hip Hop debuts in the 90s, the gold debut LP “Which Doobie U B?
Full of their own freaky vocals style and heavy productions from the Soul Assassins producers, Cypress Hill’s hit maker Dj Muggs, Dj Lethal (House of Pain) and Dj Ralph M, the album was among the biggest Hip hop records in the 90ies and became a classic.

As Cypress Hill and House of Pain before it was very popular within the Hip Hop and Alternative scene.

All single releases turned into big hits and ended up on heavy rotation on MTV such as „the Funkiest”, “Bow Wow Wow”, „Freakmode“ and „Wopbabalubop”.

Their second follow up, the gold „Brothas Doobie” album once again produced by Dj Muggs, Dj Lethal (House of Pain) and Dj Ralph M proofed to be another excellent record with two standout singles being „Rock on“ and “Dedicated“.

Now after their third album “The Troubleshooters“, solo releases and mix tapes all three original members Son Doobie, Tomahawk Funk and Dj Ralph M “The Mexican” return with their brand new album “the golden B Boys” and single “Heavyweight Funk”, both scheduled for summer 2009 and present an energetic live show with new and old songs.
